Alimentum is an infant formula for the dietary management of Cow's milk allergy (and other conditions where an extensively hydrolised formula is indicated) and should only be used under the recommendation or guidance of a healthcare professional.

Alimentum is an extensively hydrolysed formula (eHF), which means that the cow’s milk protein you typically find in standard babies formula has been broken into small fragments. This means that Alimentum will not cause allergic reactions in most babies with cow's milk allergy (CMA).

Alimentum is prescribed for babies with mild-to-moderate CMA and other conditions where an eHF is clinically indicated, and can be started from birth (no need to switch at 6 months).
